Norse Goddess Sif

Last weekend it there was day that was celebrate Goddess of Fertility Day.  My favorite Goddess of Fertility is Norse Goddess Sif.  She was wife to Thor.   

I first painted her on the ACEO/ATC card(below) and it did not come out as I hoped. I am still thinking about selling it at Etsy but i don’t know.

Today I search the web and found a site that tells you that every day has a holiday.  Of course yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day but did you know today has two things to celebrate it is the Goddess of Fertility Day and Sacrifice Day.  Now there are many different goddesses of fertility I picked the Norse goddess and wife of Thor, Sif.(picture above)  I actually made some painting of her and for Sacrifice Day but they are still wet.  So pictures will have to wait.   I do have other items I crafted and put on etsy.

Listening For The Boss

I call this painting Listening for the boss.  I know it is a little late for holiday paintings but i just haven't felt like taking the picture.

I painted this with craft arcylics. I didn't really want the blue in the snow but dripped some in there by accident, but as Bob Ross says there are no accidents.;-)

Art With Words - The Fool, The Whore, The Bride

She hangs from her own troubles knotted in a rope around her ankle.

Flashes her gold baubles and body like The Whore she is she.

But she is also The Fool destined to fool herself into thinking she will be The Bride.

So she hangs over her one stop drop into the abyss of fiery lava.

She dancing caring oh so much but can not stop destiny for only a fool believes they can

Sunday Sushi - Dragon Wonderland

This one the first drawing I did on the computer years ago. This is Poinsettia and Mistletoe.  They were part of my Dragonz and Dollz site.  If you don’t know what Dollz are you can Google them and you will probably see a few still but I don’t think they are as popular to do any more.  They are little cartoon pixel images usually of people but I did people and dragons.  I wanted to be different.

I did these both the beginning of this month.  One for Day of the Dead and the other for All Saints Day.

I also attended my first craft fair only sold one box but it was slow traffic.
