Confuzzle Fae Day #1

Today I worked on some sculpy projects. Mostly my friendly confuzzled faes in clay here are some pics!

Here are the artist fae with her foot up ready to hold that brush and laying down is the book fae.   You may see the book in another pic.

The wings for the faes above and necklace fae piece that will eventually have my name.

I  was trying out making a dragon again this one came out pretty good.   And I like the metallic paint!

Calypso Lion

The Calypso Lion is a little doodle I came up with in one of my old sketchbooks years ago.  Looking through it I thought it would be cute on some kids items at Zazzle.  I added the palm tree and sleepy parrot for fun.

Sunday Sushi #1

Okay I kinda stole this from the people who do Sunday Salon for Book Blogs ( And if you haven’t checked out Confuzzled Books then head over)

So this is where I give a little update of what I have been doing Art wise (This means writing, painting, drawing, and crafting)

Last Week - Starting Sunday March 6th 2011

Sunday  - I created a birthday card kinda in the honor of those who have there birthdays on March 6th ( I’ve known quite a few)I wanted to do the Pisces sign but ended up with the fishes and seaweed making a six.  I called it Lucky 6.

Monday - I posted the card on Zazzle.  And here it is …

I even made up the poem inside.

Tuesday - I wrote an update for here but did not post so I guess that doesn’t really count.

Wednesday - nothin’

Thursday - I wrote and posted a review of Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic by Alison Bechdel at Confuzzled Books.

Friday - I came up with 00Shamrock the Leprechaun.  He’s a parody of James Bond with fairies and gold silhouetted.

Saturday - I wrote and posted an Author Spotlight on Alison Bechel at Confuzzled Books.

Other Stuff I am Working On:

St. Patrick’s Door Plaque “Dragon’s Gold” - done

Project:  St. Patrick's Day Graphic
Title: Leprechaun 00Shamrock Silhouette
Time Spent: 2-3 hours
Technique: Photoshop 7.0

How I came up with the idea: Originally I thought of a Confuzzled Fae dressed as a Leprechaun with a shillelagh.  Like James Bond with his gun... but the image I found of a gnome on a free clip art CD seemed to fit better after a few adjustments.  I added the coin that he is flipping and the two sexy fairies for flavor.
